I know that there are three steps:
1) Connect AC97 Front Panel connector to AFFP connector on motherboard2) Change Front Panel type from [HD] (by default) to [AC97] in BIOS
3) Change Front Panel type from [HD] (by default) to [AC97] in driver advanced settings (FupremeFX window for ROG Motherboard owners)
I have problem with 2nd step!
On page 1-35 of the motherboard manual there are info:
Front Panel Audio Jack
Advanced -> PCH Configuration -> HD Audio Configuration (not even mention of Audio settings)Advanced -> Onboard Devices Configuration (I can only enable|disable HD Audio here)
