Before I ordered my first Carvin, I'd only ever played one in the Hollywood showroom, and that was a good 20 years earlier. I had good recommendations from friends who had played them, read the reviews in Bass Player and other magazines, and just took it as an article of faith that these guys were all correct.

'Certainly well worth the price. Already used for recording and a low volume live show with drums. Bandmates were amazed at the sound of that little amp.'

Carvin Br 210 Reviews
'I visited Carvin 40 years ago at age 15 to purchase my first new guitar amplifier. Our family planned a vacation to San Diego around the visit to the factory for me to spend my hard earned paper route money. In the decades afterward I have purchased several amps, sound system components, a guitar and a bass. I have always trusted your products to perform and sound great. My latest purchase of the MB210 will be a solid investment into my life as a minstrel. Another solid product from my 'go-to' musical instrument company.'

'I've played bass for almost 25 years and owned many, many combo amps and the MB210 looks like it may be my favorite one ever. With the parametric EQ section I was able to precisely dial in the bass tone I've been searching for within minutes. I really like the contour knob, it's the icing on the cake for the amp's tone shaping ability. An American made, 200 watt bass combo that sounds great and is built very well. This was a very sound decision, Thank you Carvin!'

'I own two Carvins but I've been skeptical about Carvin amps because they cost so little. I figured they couldn't be very good but I finally ordered an MB210. The construction is flawless and the custom python covering is sweet. Received it on a Tuesday, played at living room volume a couple of times to get a feel for it but intentionally didn't do a deep dive into the features or tone tweaking because I wanted to see how hard it would be to get a great tone at a gig that Friday going in cold. It was super easy to find a sweet spot with minimal tweaks. The DI is dead silent, unlike my GK which crackled and popped without notice. The compressor is very usable and a beginner could set the tone controls to get a good tone out of it. At a large venue with high ceilings all I needed was the master at 3 for a good stage volume in a loud band. The tone is clear, clean and loud with great sustain and definition. It was articulate and I think it made it easier for me to play. I can lift it into into the trunk with one hand and the look of the amp is head turning. This amp has made a believer out of me and I'm more inclined to consider their PA and other electronic gear now.'

'I receive great compliments on my tones when I use the MB210, from the sound people & band mates! The combination of the 2 x 10 speakers gives this combo amp a full sound & with the drive, parametric eq, bass & treble access - you get great tone no matter what genre you are playing! Versatile - light weight - great sound - what more do you need!'

'What a compact workhorse! Purchased this amp/combo Feb. 2012 and put it to work right out of the box. I play in a church (18-20 piece) praise band/orchestra in a 600 seat auditorium. Running direct to the house the sound tech was very impressed with what he heard. The punch and presence fill the stage. I have used it quite a bit with an extension 2x10 and the result is nothing less than a monster. The horn section on the other side of the stage even smile. For smaller gigs, (coffee shops, etc.) this combo is perfect. Easy to tweak to fit room acoustics and so easy to transport. Bass in one hand, combo 210 in the other. The amp is super quite and features are well thought out. This is my first Carvin purchase in over thirty years of playing but I keep looking at their catalog and website trying to decide what my next investment will be.'

'Awsome right out of the box! I took the amp to a live radio gig for its maiden voyage and she performed flawlessly, great tone with my P bass, no EQ needed for a sound that cut through the mix! Great job, Carvin!'
